Job summary

Aspire Talent Solutions is seeking a Controls Technician for a day shift in the southwest suburban Atlanta area. The role involves building PLC panels and programming them, plus installing and commissioning automated equipment.

Responsibilities include configuring, testing, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting controls within production systems. Strong PLC, robotics, and safety circuit skills required; you must be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Desire at least 6 years of related experience.
• PLC programming expertise.
• Ladder logic troubleshooting.
• Panel building experience.
• Electrical experience.
• Some robotics experience.
• Safety circuit integration.
• Must be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Install air logic controls from prints or schematics.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic circuits with check valves, accumulators, cylinders, flow controls, valves.
• Troubleshoot PLC systems using computer.
• Install, program, or repair programmable controllers, and robot controllers.
• Use knowledge of fabrication equipment to complete maintenance tasks.
• Operate or oversee equipment operation.
• Analyze and categorize events within the equipment.
• Work with engineers and production teams to optimize output.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and routine upgrades.
• Repair machine controls and disassemble/reassemble equipment as needed.
• Train others to install, use, and service equipment.
