Job summary

H.T. Prof Executive Search seeks a Controls Technician in the southwest suburban Atlanta area on the day shift (7:00am - 3:30pm, Mon-Fri).

The role involves building PLC panels, programming and getting automated equipment up and running, plus troubleshooting and maintenance across pneumatic, hydraulic, and control systems. You will collaborate with engineers and production teams to meet output goals, while ensuring safety and system reliability.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of related experience required.
• Experience with PLC programming required.
• Electrical experience required.
• Robotic experience preferred.
• Safety circuit integration experience required.
• Must be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Build PLC panels and program them to run.
• Troubleshoot PLC systems using computer-based tools.
• Install, program, or repair programmable/controllers and robot controllers.
• Support pneumatic and hydraulic systems per prints or schematics.
• Work with engineers and production teams to achieve target output.
• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on controls and automated systems.
