Job summary

Cencora is seeking a maintenance technician to support its US distribution center operations. The role focuses on preventative maintenance, diagnostics of materials handling equipment, and system upgrades to ensure continuous warehouse productivity.

Ideal candidates have technical vocational training with 2+ years of related experience and strong electrical/mechanical expertise, including PLCs and HMI basics. Extended hours may be required to meet productivity goals.

Qualifications

• Requires some technical vocational training or equivalent.
• At least 2 years related experience; strong electrical background preferred.
• Ability to read CAD layouts, IPB diagrams, and electrical schematics.

Responsibilities

• Ensures preventive maintenance plans and schedules for facility equipment and systems.
• Diagnoses MHE and automated picking system error conditions and repairs.
• Oversees maintenance, modifications, and system upgrades of MHE controls.
• Assesses efficiency of MHE and picking systems and defines modifications.
• Performs routine preventive maintenance to support warehouse operations.
• Maintains CMMS/EAM records of repairs and actions taken.
• Manages inventory of spare parts.
