Job summary
Electrical Automation Services is seeking an on-site technician in Naperville, IL, for roles involving installation, programming, and maintenance of PLCs, servo systems, and related automation equipment. The candidate will troubleshoot analog/digital controls, drive systems, encoders, load cells, and HMI interfaces while applying safe manufacturing practices.
Responsibilities include ladder logic modifications, graphical interface troubleshooting, and diagnosing communication protocols such as
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Demonstrated experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and servo systems.
- Experience with computerized maintenance systems preferred.
- Experience with packaging equipment in manufacturing environments preferred.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure and troubleshoot PLC input/output modules and control wiring.
- Troubleshoot analog/digital controls with 480V, 3-phase power and drives.
- Program and troubleshoot PLC and HMI interfaces; modify ladder logic.
- Troubleshoot communication protocols (Profibus, serial, industrial Ethernet).
- Maintain preventive maintenance on Laser Guided Vehicles, conveyors and production equipment.
