Controls Technician – Kansas City, MO – $25–$40/hr. + Company Vehicle + 100% Paid Medical

A well-established building automation contractor in the Kansas City metro is seeking a skilled Controls Technician to support its growing BAS service team. This field-based position focuses on troubleshooting, commissioning, and maintaining building automation systems across commercial, educational, and institutional facilities. • Status: Full-Time | Field-Based | On-Call Rotation (~Every 6 Weeks)

Ideal Candidate:

• Experience working as a Controls Technician or in a BAS service capacity
• Strong troubleshooting background with HVAC controls and automation systems
• Knowledgeable in point-to-point checkout and commissioning processes
• Able to install, test, and verify new control system components
• Comfortable working with existing BAS logic and making adjustments as needed
• Clear communicator with building owners, contractors, and end users
• Capable of working independently and collaboratively with project teams
• Experience with Tridium or Automated Logic (ALC) preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Service, troubleshoot, and maintain building automation systems (BAS)

• Hourly Rate: $25.00–$40.00/hr. (DOE)
• Overtime: Available
• On-Call: Every 6 Weeks
