Ideal candidates have 2+ years in Building Automation or HVAC controls, experience with major platforms, and relevant journeyman certifications.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with Building Automation or HVAC controls.
• Exposure to Siemens, Honeywell, Trane, JCI, Andover, Schneider or equivalents.
• Journeyman electrical or mechanical trade certifications preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting, commissioning and controls logic skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, adjust, and repair BAS and related controls.
• Perform commissioning, system testing, and point-to-point verification.
• Assist with installation support, startup, and programming tasks.
• Modify and update BAS programs to match design intent and ops needs.
• Conduct on-site and remote testing to validate performance.
• Ensure compliance with client standards and cybersecurity practices.
• Collaborate with owners, GCs, and internal teams to resolve issues.
• Lead technician or foreman for self-performed controls work when required.

• Hourly Pay: $30.00–$65.00/hr (DOE)
• Status: Full-Time | Field-Based | Project-Driven Travel

Ideal Candidate:

• 2+ years of experience working with Building Automation or HVAC controls
• Exposure to platforms such as Siemens, Honeywell, Trane, JCI, Andover, Schneider, or equivalent systems
• Journeyman Electrical or mechanical trade certifications – preferred
• Strong troubleshooting, commissioning, and controls logic skills
• Proactive, organized, and comfortable working both independently and with project teams
• Must pass background check and drug screening

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, adjust, and repair Building Automation Systems (BAS) and related controls
• Perform commissioning activities, system testing, and point-to-point verification
• Assist with installation support, equipment startup, and programming-related tasks
• Modify and update BAS programs to align with design intent and operational requirements

• Ensure systems comply with client standards, cybersecurity updates, and best practices
