Job summary

TGW Systems Inc. is seeking an experienced Controls Project Manager Team Lead to guide a team of Controls Project Managers while directly managing smaller projects.

The role emphasizes leadership, planning, and cross-functional coordination across engineering, installation, and customer teams in a busy industrial setting. The position requires a Bachelor’s in engineering or equivalent, 5+ years in project management, and 20–50% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering-related field or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in project management, preferably in material-handling, industrial, or manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily activities of Controls Project Management (PrMC) team to ensure delivery of project scope, schedule, cost, and quality.
• Review and approve expense reports, PTO requests, and timesheets.
• Recruitment, development, and performance management of Controls Project Managers.
• Coordinate controls engineering resources and develop integrated project schedules with PrMC stage-gates.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate technical and commercial risks; support change control evaluation.
• Review project scopes, concepts, and designs for feasibility and TGW standards.
• Facilitate communication across engineering, installation, commissioning, operations, and customer teams.
• Maintain complete project documentation and ensure TGW requirements compliance.
• Serve as PrMC escalation point for complex issues on controls projects.
