Job summary

H2K Technologies, a UCC Environmental company, seeks a skilled Control Panel Construction Technician to build industrial control panels per UL508A schematics at our Corcoran facility. Role involves limited field startup support and growth into controls design and PLC programming.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years building panels or a 2-year technical degree, reads electrical schematics, and understands UL508A requirements. Opportunities for professional development are offered.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience building industrial control panels or a 2-year technical degree in Electrical/Process Control Technology, Mechatronics, or related field
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics – AutoCAD experience a plus
• Working knowledge of UL508A requirements
• Strong understanding of industrial control components

Responsibilities

• Assemble industrial control panels per schematics and layouts
• Layout back panels and enclosures for component placement and wire routing
• Mount PLCs, drives, power supplies, relays, breakers, terminal blocks, HMIs
• Perform point‑to‑point wiring per schematic
• Label wires and components per UL508A and standards
• Verify torque specs and maintain documentation
• Perform quality checks and continuity testing
• Support UL508A inspection requirements and documentation
• Assist with onsite panel startups and commissioning
• Provide professional interface with customers during service calls
