Job summary

Kelvion is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design UL508a-compliant electrical control panels and lead panel shop operations. The role includes supporting maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field; Associate’s degree with 10+ years of experience accepted.
Minimum 5 years in electrical panel design and construction; at least 2 years UL508a experience.
Deep knowledge of UL508a standards and regulations.
Experience with PLC-controlled systems and AutoCAD or similar CAD tools.

Responsibilities

Design and build UL508a electrical control panels with wiring schematics, layouts, and field wiring charts.
Lead improvement initiatives for manufacturing capabilities and processes.
Program and troubleshoot PLCs and control software for Kelvion US HVAC/R controllers.
Document changes and maintain procedures for UL508a panel design, testing, and installation.
Provide technical support to internal teams and customers; manage multiple projects concurrently.
