What you will do
Under general direction, acts as the on-site project leader to plan, execute, and complete control systems projects with assigned customers. Performs or delegates tasks as needed to fully complete projects, including hardware design, system programming, installation coordination, system and network commissioning, and project closeout. Responsible for the overall financial results of projects, including costs, billings, and collections. Maintains a balance between customer satisfaction and project financial outcomes. Actively pursues selling change orders. Coordinates communication with the customer throughout all project phases. Ensures accurate execution of warranty.
How you will do it
Provides work direction to subcontractors, electrical installers, technicians, designers, and administrative staff as necessary.
Ensures work performed complies with all legal requirements at the state, local, and federal levels, operating with the highest ethics.
Adheres to and enforces safety standards for Johnson Controls staff and subcontractors.
What we look for
Required
Technical associate's degree with 7 years of field experience or four years of equivalent related experience in the building automation industry, preferably programming HVAC controls.
Experience managing projects.
Ability to communicate technical material to a non-technical audience.
Ability to work independently.
Strong digital literacy.
Where legally permissible, candidates must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 by their start date, unless they have a valid medical condition or sincerely held religious belief that precludes vaccination.
Preferred
Experience in the HVAC industry, programming controls.
Over two years of project management experience.
Knowledge of project accounting and costing principles.
Hands-on experience in systems design and commissioning of digital HVAC controls systems.
