Job summary

The Bradbury Co., Inc. in Moundridge, KS offers a Summer 2027 internship in the Controls Engineering Department. Interns will work with startup, programming, and electrical design teams, under supervision of an experienced Controls Engineer, for not less than two months.

Responsibilities include EthernetIP setup, PLC programming, motion control tuning, HMI installation, and PLC logic demonstration in a Windows environment using RSLogix Studio and SQL data interactions.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing an associate degree in Automation Engineering Technology or a related field.
• Or pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.

Responsibilities

• Assist with setup of EthernetIP communications on Rockwell-based control components.
• Program PLCs and install software on production floor machines.
• Tune motion control systems including servo motors and VFDs.
• Install and setup HMI terminals and interface with PLCs.
• Demonstrate and discuss PLC logic and ladder logic in RSLogix Studio.
• Support other duties as assigned.
