Job summary

SPX Technologies in Overland Park, KS is seeking a 2027 summer Controls/Technical Services Engineering Intern. You will assist with control systems, product development, and technical service operations while leveraging engineering fundamentals.

Ideal candidates are pursuing Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, with strong MS Office skills and good communication. This paid internship may include housing stipends for non-local students.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a relevant engineering degree with a 3.0+ GPA.
• Experience with MS Office and basic scripting is a plus.
• Strong communication and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Review product specs and BOMs for accuracy.
• Support development and testing of control solutions.
• Coordinate with engineers, PMs, and sourcing for vendor qualification.
• Contribute to training materials and technical documents.
• Get exposure to NPI processes and control system design.
