CRB is seeking a Control Systems Integration Intern for Summer 2027 in Kansas City, MO. This full-time internship offers hands-on experience with PC/PLC hardware, software configuration, and on-site startup support, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams.

Based in the food & beverage and life sciences-focused engineering environment, you’ll learn from industry leaders, participate in real projects, and develop practical skills in control systems while contributing to client outcomes.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science or an Associate's degree in related fields.
• Experience with Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote.
• Interest in Food & Beverage or Life Sciences industries is strongly preferred.
• Willing to communicate and collaborate across disciplines and with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Configure, install and troubleshoot PC/PLC hardware and software; support customer networks.
• Assist with installing and starting up a control system at a customer site.
• Contribute to operator training for the control system.
• Coordinate with other disciplines and external team members (vendors, clients, contractors).
