blueStone Solutions Group in Bowling Green, KY is seeking an experienced Controls Engineer to support manufacturing automation, vision systems, and continuous improvement initiatives at our local facility. You will lead the design and implementation of automation projects from concept through startup, focusing on quality, uptime, and process efficiency.

The ideal candidate has 8–10 years in industrial controls, hands-on GCCX, Keyence vision systems, and FANUC robotics integration, plus PLC and

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field required.
8–10 years of relevant experience in industrial controls engineering and manufacturing automation.
Hands-on experience with GCCX (Global Common Controls).
Strong experience configuring and implementing Keyence industrial vision systems.
Experience with FANUC robotics, vision applications, or cobots integration.

Responsibilities

Design electrical control panels and develop PLC and HMI software for industrial automation systems.
Configure, integrate, and troubleshoot Keyence and Matrox industrial vision systems.
Support FANUC vision applications and robotic/cobot integration.
Develop error-proofing solutions and automated quality inspection systems in collaboration with Quality team.
Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on manufacturing processes, quality, and operational efficiency.
Provide technical support for servo drives, programmable machine controls, and automation equipment.
Perform system tryouts, debugging, commissioning, and startup support.
