Job summary
Dematic provides automation solutions and on-site system integration. We are seeking a qualified engineer to participate in designing semi-complex systems that integrate hardware and software, and to write PLC code for semi-complex systems using standard practices. You will support material specs, BOM development, and project documentation.
Travel 25–40% and on-site startup experience is expected. 2–8 years in related field, 4-year degree preferred.
Qualifications
- Hands-on PLC experience with major vendors.
- Knowledge of Profibus, ASi and Ethernet networks.
- Experience documenting operations for control layouts.
- Excellent communication skills and on-site startup experience.
- 4-year degree or equivalent in related discipline.
Responsibilities
- Design semi-complex systems integrating hardware and software.
- Write PLC code for semi-complex systems using standard practices.
- Support material specifications, BOM development and schematics.
- Lead projects through lifecycle including design and forecasting.
- Troubleshoot on-site programming and electrical issues.
- Interact with customers on site.
