Job summary

TRAK Group in Springdale, OH is seeking a Controls Engineer to design, program, and support control systems for custom industrial automation equipment. This hands-on role covers the full project lifecycle from concept to startup and customer acceptance.

You will work on PLC and HMI development using Allen-Bradley or Siemens, create electrical schematics and BOMs, and collaborate across engineering, manufacturing, and customers to deliver quality solutions on schedule.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 2–5 years of Controls Engineering in industrial automation/manufacturing.
• Experience programming PLC and HMI for industrial equipment.
• Proficient troubleshooting, analytical and collaborative skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and program PLC and HMI control systems.
• Support electrical controls design: schematics, panel layouts, BOMs, and docs.
• Debug, test, and troubleshoot control systems during assembly, startup, and commissioning.
• Collaborate with Engineering, PM, Manufacturing, electricians, and customers.
• Develop BOMs and assist with component selection and system design.
• Research and implement new controls technologies and process improvements.
