Job summary

Jobot, Tulsa-based manufacturer of industrial process equipment, is seeking an experienced Electrical/Controls Engineer to design, develop, test, and commission electrical and automated control systems for industrial process equipment.

You will work from engineering through startup, program Allen-Bradley PLCs, develop HMI/SCADA interfaces, read P&IDs, and support FAT and site commissioning with cross-functional teams in manufacturing, project engineering, and customers.

Qualifications

5+ years of electrical controls, automation, instrumentation, or industrial engineering experience.
Hands-on PLC programming experience.
Experience with Allen-Bradley / ControlLogix / Studio 5000.
Ability to read electrical schematics and P&IDs.
Experience with industrial control panels and instrumentation.
Experience with equipment testing, commissioning, or startup.
Industrial manufacturing, process equipment, or similar experience preferred.
Bonus: Burner/combustion, boiler, process heating, BMS, or other industrial process-control experience.

Responsibilities

Design electrical and control systems for industrial equipment.
Develop electrical schematics, control-panel layouts, wiring diagrams, and I/O documentation.
Program and troubleshoot Allen-Bradley PLCs.
Develop and support HMI/SCADA systems.
Work with instrumentation, sensors, valves, motors, and other control devices.
Interpret P&IDs and translate process requirements into control strategies.
Support FAT, commissioning, startup, and field troubleshooting.
Work with manufacturing, project engineering, customers, and field personnel.
Assist with equipment testing, documentation, and controls standards.
