Job summary

Trillium Construction is seeking a Controls Engineer for a full-time role leading industrial controls projects from design through commissioning. Travel: 25–50%. Pay rate is $35/hour.

Responsibilities include designing control panels, schematics, wiring diagrams, and bills of material; programming PLCs and HMIs; troubleshooting systems and supporting field start-up; coordinating with clients, contractors, and project teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent with 5+ years of experience.
• Proficient with Rockwell/Allen-Bradley PLCs and FactoryTalk SE/ME.
• Strong electrical, networking and troubleshooting skills; willing to travel.

Responsibilities

• Design control panels, schematics, wiring diagrams, and bills of material.
• Program PLCs and HMIs.
• Troubleshoot systems and support field start-up.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and project teams.
