Job summary

Jobot is seeking a skilled Controls Engineer in Pittsburgh to design, develop, and support custom automation solutions for industrial applications. You will work from concept to implementation, including electrical schematics, PLC/HMI programming, commissioning, and troubleshooting to improve system performance.

The role requires a BS in a related field and 3–5+ years of experience with Allen-Bradley ControlLogix PLCs and FactoryTalk View HMI.

Qualifications

BS in a related field is required.
3-5+ years of controls engineering experience in industrial manufacturing.
3+ years of Allen Bradley ControlLogix PLC programming experience.
Experience with FactoryTalk View HMI is required.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and support custom automation solutions for industrial/infrastructure settings.
Create control system designs from concept through implementation, including electrical schematics.
Program PLCs and HMIs, commission systems, and troubleshoot to improve performance and reliability.
Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to optimize control systems.
