Job summary

TAS Energy Inc. is seeking a Controls Engineer to provide engineering, design, and programming services for industrial and renewable projects. You will develop control standards, work across development phases, and support field commissioning.

Responsibilities include interpreting electrical drawings, BOM creation, and collaborating with design and project teams to implement controls scopes. Strong PLC/HMI skills and Rockwell experience are valued.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and/or Controls Engineering from an accredited four-year program.
Military leadership/technical experience may be substituted for degree.
Proven proficiency in technical writing and documentation.

Responsibilities

Interpret electrical drawings including one-line diagrams and control panel schematics.
Support control system design: panel layouts, I/O design, circuit development.
Create and review Bills of Materials (BOMs).
Provide manufacturing drawings with design team.
Execute controls scope with engineering and project teams.
Support field activities: commissioning, startup, troubleshooting.
Serve as primary customer contact for controls inquiries.
Attend project kickoff and design review meetings.
Document operation sequences and system functionality.
Troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and networks.
