Job summary

Veridian Tech Solutions, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Control Engineer for 6 months contract, onsite in Cleburne, TX. You will independently manage Rockwell commissioning activities and lead PLC/SCADA development.

Expertise with Rockwell PLC, FactoryTalk View, Cognex/Keyence vision systems, ladder logic, and validation is required. Strong reading of electrical diagrams and P&ID drawings, plus solid technical writing, are essential.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of PLC programming experience (Allen-Bradley Logix).
• 7+ years of HMI/SCADA design experience (FactoryTalk View).
• Knowledge of EtherNet/IP networks, capable of commissioning, troubleshooting, and testing control panels.
• Ability to read P&ID drawings and electrical/logic diagrams.
• Strong technical writing and communication skills.
• Team player with ownership of a control panel area from I/O check to high-volume testing.
• Troubleshoot wiring, hardware, network/communication, and logic issues.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage Rockwell commissioning activities.
• Lead Rockwell PLC/SCADA development with vision system integration (Cognex/Keyence).
• Write ladder, SCL, FBD, and Graph code with validation experience.

Experience in Rockwell Commissioning is a MUST. The role is of a Control Engineer, independently managing the commission activities.

Expertise in Rockwell PLC SCADA development, vision experience, cognex/keyence vision experience.

Previous experience writing code in Ladder, SCL, FBD, and Graph, Validation experience.

Experience 10 years.
