Job summary

TAS Energy, Inc., a Houston-based company within Comfort Systems USA, seeks a Controls Engineer to provide engineering, design and programming for industrial and data-center projects. You will help develop controls standards and support from design through field execution.

Responsibilities include panel layouts, BOMs, PLC/HMI programming, and on-site commissioning, with a focus on reliability and enterprise-scale applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and/or Controls Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience designing, configuring, programming, installing and commissioning PLC, HMI, and I&E equipment.
• Proven ability to read P&ID diagrams, control loops and electrical schematics.

Responsibilities

• Interpret electrical drawings and control panel schematics to support design.
• Develop and modify PLC and HMI programs for projects.
• Support field commissioning, startup, and troubleshooting activities.
