Job summary

Amrize is seeking a highly skilled Controls Engineer to join our Building Envelope team in Wellford, SC. You will serve as the SME for controls within the facility, supporting maintenance, production, and engineering to improve safety, reliability and efficiency.

You will program PLCs, develop HMIs, and collaborate on projects from planning through commissioning. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in PLC/HMI programming, motor controls, and industrial networking, plus hands-on experience with

Qualifications

5+ years of experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) programs.
5+ years of experience with HMI/SCADA systems.
5+ years of experience with Motor Controls and drives.
Strong knowledge of electrical theory and safety practices.
Experience with Rockwell Automation/Allen-Bradley Studio 5000.

Responsibilities

Demonstrate safe electrical work practices.
Hands-on PLC/HMI programming, modification, and troubleshooting.
Support maintenance to diagnose and repair electrical equipment and control devices.
Lead and/or support internal controls projects from conception to commissioning.
Identify opportunities to optimize safety, quality, efficiency and reliability of production lines.
