Job summary

Prysmian is seeking a Controls Engineer to drive reliability and continuous improvement of plant automation, controls, and SCADA. You will support PLCs, HMIs, and data systems, with a focus on robust, well-documented controls that improve performance and safety.

The role requires hands-on experience with Rockwell controls, HMI tools, and industrial networks. You will collaborate on upgrades, provide technical leadership on projects, and work on the production floor to support operations.

Qualifications

Must have hands-on controls engineering experience in manufacturing.
Experience with Allen-Bradley ControlLogix/CompactLogix and Studio 5000.
Proficient in HMI software and industrial networks.

Responsibilities

Develop, modify, troubleshoot, and maintain PLC programs (Rockwell/Studio 5000).
Develop and maintain HMI applications using standards (ISA-101 preferred).
Lead SCADA development, dashboards, historian integration, and data models.
Provide root-cause analysis and corrective actions for controls issues.
Collaborate on automation upgrades and equipment installations.
Ensure documentation, wiring schematics, and change logs are accurate.
