Corning Incorporated in Painted Post, NY, is seeking an Electrical Controls Engineer to design, build, program, test, and debug automated process machines in the Firing area, focusing on safety and quality improvements throughout advanced manufacturing processes.

You will work with cross-functional teams on PLCs, DCS, HMIs, motion control, and vision systems, applying robust control solutions in a manufacturing setting and contributing to continuous improvements and asset reliability.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
• 1-3 years in controls, automation, or related fields.
• Experience with modern control solutions in manufacturing.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Team-oriented with ability to work independently.
• Familiarity with NFPA/NEMA and safety standards.

Responsabilidades

• Act as the Electrical Controls expert for development and troubleshooting of production equipment in the Firing area.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations and maintenance to implement new functionality.
• Adhere to plant electrical controls standards and handle off-shift changes as needed.
• Deliver engineered solutions with clear benefits and risks to Operations and Leadership.
• Gain advanced manufacturing exposure with hands-on impact.
