Job summary

Corning Incorporated is seeking an Electrical Controls Engineer for the Finishing area at the Painted Post, NY Diesel Manufacturing facility. You will design, program, test, and debug automated process machines and material handling systems using Rockwell Automation controllers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or equivalent with control systems experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Electrical Controls resource for development and troubleshooting of production equipment in the Painted Post, NY facility.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Operations, and Maintenance to add new functionality and support MES data collection.
• Follow plant electrical controls standards and act as technical resource for deviations and changes during off-shift.
• Communicate engineering solutions effectively to Leadership and work in cross-functional teams.
