Job summary

Barry-Wehmiller Design Group in the United States is seeking a Controls Engineer to join our Control System Integration Practice. You will design automation solutions, program Rockwell PLCs and HMIs, and collaborate with clients and vendors to deliver high-quality, on-schedule projects.

The ideal candidate has at least three years of direct experience in industrial manufacturing environments, strong communication skills, and a degree in electrical, mechanical, or chemical engineering.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of direct experience as a controls engineer in automated environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop automation solutions by designing control systems and creating project documentation.
• Interface with project teams, clients and vendors.
• Program PLCs (Rockwell) and HMIs (FactoryTalk, Cimplicity, Wonderware, Ignition).
• Communicate project progress to stakeholders.
• Manage deliverables to budget, schedule and scope.
• Support site installation, checkout and start-up of manufacturing processes.
