Körber is hiring a Controls Engineer II to design and deploy control systems for material handling, including PLC programming and GUI development. You will validate code before deployment and support on-site testing, ensuring projects meet deadlines and performance targets.

The role demands experience with Rockwell and Siemens platforms, Ethernet/IP networks, and HMI concepts, plus collaboration across engineering teams and stakeholders. A hybrid schedule applies in US offices including Atlanta.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Controls Engineering with relevant work experience in material handling.
• 5 years of experience or 3 years with a Master’s degree in related field.
• Experience with Rockwell Automation PLC programming and Siemens TIA Portal.

Mansioni

• Design and deploy control systems, including programming and commissioning PLC code, and developing GUIs.
• Troubleshoot PLC code and electrical system functionality during on-site commissioning.
• Collaborate with Electrical Engineering to define device requirements and network design.
• Contribute to cost and resource estimates and monitor design cost alignment with budgets.
• Execute software quality processes through module, subsystem, and system tests.
• Develop recommendations to boost productivity and reduce costs and improve customer satisfaction.
