Job summary

Thermo Systems is seeking a Control System Engineer to drive hardware and software design, develop and integrate control systems, and support installation and commissioning on projects. You will lead FAT activities and ensure technical documentation meets standards.

You will collaborate with project teams, lead others in the field, and apply HMI/PLC knowledge while aligning with IT/network considerations and the company QMS. This role involves travel and customer focus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in E.E./M.E./CS or related field with relevant experience.
• Typically 2+ years total experience.
• 1-3 years as Control System Engineer or equivalent.
• Strong ability to read P&ID and wiring diagrams.
• Knowledge of HMI and PLC applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead hardware and software design, development, integration, testing, and installation support.
• Mentor project members during installation, start-up, and commissioning.
• Lead Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT).
• Review standard documents for technical accuracy.
• Provide instrumentation specifications for basic control systems.
• Understand IT system and network considerations in control systems.
