Job summary

Thermo Systems is seeking a Controls Engineer III to design, integrate, and deliver automation projects in industrial environments. You will lead project tasks from design through commissioning, collaborating with managers, engineers, and field teams.

Ideal candidates have strong PLC/HMI skills, experience interpreting P&IDs, and a drive to grow into leadership roles while delivering safe, reliable solutions across diverse projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Science or related technical discipline.
• Typically 4+ years in industrial automation, controls engineering, or system integration.
• Demonstrated experience leading engineering tasks or small project scopes.

Responsibilities

• Lead start-up and commissioning of control systems.
• Lead FATs for automation systems.
• Interpret P&IDs and electrical schematics; provide field feedback.
