Thermo Systems is seeking a Control System Engineer to lead hardware and software design, development, integration, testing, and installation support on control project work. You will listen, take direction, and collaborate with project leads, supervisors, and leadership.

Requires a B.S. in engineering and typically 2+ years of experience; 1-3 years in control systems is ideal. Travel up to 50% may be required; duties include FAT, HMI, PLC, and IT integration with on-site work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with relevant experience.
• Typically 2+ years total experience.
• Proven track record: 1-3 years as Control System Engineer or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Displays electrical and mechanical system troubleshooting skills.
• Lead installation, start-up, and commissioning tasks.
• Lead FAT (Factory Acceptance Tests).
• Read and interpret P&ID and wiring diagrams; understand HMI and PLC applications.
• Provide review of standard documents for technical accuracy.
