Job summary

Thermo Systems is seeking a Control System Engineer to lead and support control system projects from design through installation and FAT. You will read diagrams, specify instrumentation, and guide team members in field start-up and commissioning.

The role emphasizes HMI/PLC expertise, troubleshooting, and adherence to the company’s QMS. Travel up to 50% and collaboration with project leads, supervisors, and leadership are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science; Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or other pertinent curriculum combined with relevant technical experience.

Responsibilities

• Displays electrical and mechanical system troubleshooting skills.
• Demonstrate self-sufficiency in the field.
• Lead other project members during installation, start-up, and commissioning.
• Lead and perform Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT).
• Read and interpret piping & instrumentation diagrams and wiring diagrams.
• Exhibit understanding of HMI and PLC applications.
• Possess knowledge of the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Provide instrumentation specifications for basic control systems.
• Understand IT network infrastructure as it relates to control system integration.
