Job summary

Marvin is seeking an electrical and software control engineer to advance equipment performance and processes across its production lines. Responsibilities include developing schematics, implementing PLCs and HMIs, and interfacing shop floor operations with control systems.

The role emphasizes continuous improvement, teamwork with engineers and technicians, and delivering training on data flow and safe operation of production equipment.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
Automation controls background is preferred.
Lean manufacturing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Develop machine schematics and specify hardware requirements.
Implement PLC code and develop HMI interfaces for production processes.
Provide technical support between data base systems and control systems.
Design and implement interfaces between shop floor and equipment.
Develop training modules for data flow and communications control.
Support continuous improvement via Kaizen and improvement teams.
Perform other assigned duties as needed.
