Job summary

Marvin is seeking an engineer to own electrical and software control across production equipment. You will design schematics, develop PLCs and HMIs, and work with Engineers and Technicians to install new equipment and improve processes.

Responsibilities include interfacing with shop floor teams, developing training on data flow and communications, and supporting Kaizen and continuous improvement initiatives. A strong background in automation and manufacturing is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering preferred and/or documented experience in automation controls and programming.
• Experience with Lean manufacturing concepts.
• Knowledge of electrical codes and electrical installations.

Responsibilities

• Develop machine schematics and specify hardware requirements.
• Implement PLC code and HMI interfaces for production processes.
• Provide technical support between database systems and control systems.
• Design interfaces between shop floor personnel and equipment; propose alternative solutions.
