Job summary

Automation Solutions seeks a highly skilled Controls Engineer to design, program, commission, and support automated systems across customer sites. You will work with PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, servo systems, robots, and vision systems, traveling to customer locations about 25% of the time.

The role emphasizes hands-on hardware and software integration, troubleshooting, and delivering high-quality automation solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Two to four years of controls programming or similar industrial controls experience.
• Experience developing, modifying, troubleshooting, or supporting PLC programs and ladder logic.
• Experience with PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, servo and motion-control systems, and industrial robots.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to design and implement automation projects.
• Provide hands-on support during assembly, wiring, and installation of control systems.
• Perform system testing, runoffs, and verify equipment meets requirements.
• Travel to customer facilities as needed for commissioning and service.
