Schreiber Foods in Carthage, MO, seeks a Electrical Engineer focused on automation to optimize control systems, improve reliability, and support capital projects in a high‑volume dairy environment.

You will mentor maintenance staff, coordinate with contractors, and ensure safety and quality standards while applying NEC/NFPA70E knowledge and delivering data-driven performance improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years in electrical control system programming, design, power distribution, and project management.
• Experience with NEC, NFPA70E, and electrical theory.
• Proficiency in reading electrical drawings and automation programming.

Responsibilities

• Execute electrical, instrumentation, and controls projects on time and within budget.
• Coach plant maintenance on electrical automation topics.
• Manage electrical and engineering contractors' performance.
• Improve production efficiency through controls optimization.
• Monitor and maintain plant control systems and network health.
• Establish electrical, automation, and controls standards.
• Develop SCADA, HMI, MES, and data dashboards for performance improvements.
• Ensure compliance with Food Safety and Quality Plans and customer requirements.
