Job summary

Schreiber Foods in Logan, UT, is seeking an Electrical Engineer to optimize plant control systems and lead electrical automation projects. You will ensure safety and process standards, apply new technologies, and support capital projects in a fast‑paced dairy manufacturing environment.

You’ll mentor maintenance staff, coordinate with suppliers and contractors, and develop SCADA/HMI/MES solutions while maintaining compliance with NEC/NFPA70E and food safety plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in electrical control system programming and project management.
• Familiar with NEC and NFPA70E electrical theory.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and diagrams.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Execute electrical, instrumentation, and controls projects per budget and schedule.
• Coach and train maintenance on electrical automation topics.
• Manage electrical and engineering contractors' performance.
• Improve production efficiency and uptime via controls optimization.
• Maintain plant control systems and develop SCADA/HMI/MES solutions.
