Job summary

Schreiber Foods, Inc. in Logan, UT seeks a Controls Engineer to optimize electrical automation in an automated food manufacturing environment.

You’ll execute electrical, instrumentation and controls projects, coach maintenance staff, and ensure safety and regulatory standards are met. You’ll develop SCADA/HMI and data reporting solutions, maintain control systems, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams on capital projects and uptime improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in electrical control system programming and design.
• Knowledge of NEC/NFPA70E and electrical theory.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and program automation.
• Strong communication and cross-functional teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Execute electrical, instrumentation, and controls projects within cost, schedule, and performance targets.
• Coach and train maintenance staff on automation topics.
• Manage electrical contractors and ensure safety and standards compliance.
• Improve production efficiency via controls optimization opportunities.
• Develop SCADA/HMI, MES, and data reporting solutions.
