Job summary

E Tech Group is seeking a Lead Controls Engineer to join a fast-growing team supporting design, deployment, testing, and maintenance of control systems for data centers and critical facilities.

The role requires coordinating with customers, project management, and field teams, with frequent status updates and travel up to 50%. A Bachelor's in engineering and 3+ years in control systems are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in the control system industry.
• Willingness to travel 30-50% (mostly local with remote support).
• Able to work independently on projects with an organized approach.
• Experience commissioning in live environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, test, and maintain control system projects.
• Develop/modify design documentation, SOPs, and sequences of operations.
• Perform quality checks and bench testing of PLC, HMI, & SCADA programs.
• Provide onsite and remote commissioning system design changes.
• Coordinate with installation teams to monitor progress and QA/QC procedures.
• Travel as needed to client facilities for design, development, and startup.
• Represent the company values and support associates' development.
