Job summary

Suncoast Post-Tension, Ltd. in Houston, TX seeks a Controls Engineer to design and program DCS, PLC, HMI and SCADA systems for manufacturing processes, delivering reliable control solutions that improve safety and efficiency.

The ideal candidate holds a BS in Electrical Engineering or instrumentation/controls and 7+ years of experience in a manufacturing setting, with hands-on experience with Rockwell/Allen-Bradley and Siemens HMIs such as Ignition, RSView32, or FactoryTalk.

Qualifications

• BS or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering or Instrumentation/Controls.
• 7+ years of experience as an Instrumentation and Controls Engineer in manufacturing.
• Experience designing and programming DCS/PLC/HMI/SCADA systems.

Qualifications Req: BS or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering or Instrumentation/Controls and 7 yrs of exp as an Instrumentations and Controls Engineer in a Manufacturing environment.

Must possess strong proficiency in designing and programming DCS, PLC, HMI and SCADA systems; solid experience with Allen Bradley/Rockwell, Siemens HMIs including Ignition, RSView32, and FactoryTalk Studio SE; solid understanding of process control fundamentals, including PID control loops, field instrumentation, and process optimization techniques; and, familiarity with relevant standards and regulations governing instrumentation and control systems.
