Job summary

Suncoast Post-Tension, Ltd. in Houston, TX seeks a Controls Engineer with a BS in Electrical Engineering or related field and 7+ years in manufacturing to design and program DCS/PLC/HMI/SCADA systems. The role requires strong expertise with PLC/HMI platforms and process control fundamentals.

Candidates should be proficient in Allen-Bradley/Rockwell and Siemens HMIs (Ignition, RSView32, FactoryTalk Studio SE) and familiar with PID control loops, field instrumentation and process optimization.

Qualifications

• BS or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering or Instrumentation/Controls.
• 7 yrs of exp as an Instrumentations and Controls Engineer in a Manufacturing environment.
• Strong proficiency in designing and programming DCS, PLC, HMI and SCADA systems; solid experience with Allen Bradley/Rockwell, Siemens HMIs including Ignition, RSView32, and FactoryTalk Studio SE; familiarity with PID control loops, field instrumentation and process optimization.

Qualifications

Req:

BS or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering or Instrumentation/Controls and 7 yrs of exp as an Instrumentations and Controls Engineer in a Manufacturing environment.

Must possess strong proficiency in designing and programming DCS, PLC, HMI and SCADA systems; solid experience with Allen Bradley/Rockwell, Siemens HMIs including Ignition, RSView32, and FactoryTalk Studio SE; solid understanding of process control fundamentals, including PID control loops, field instrumentation, and process optimization techniques; and, familiarity with relevant standards and regulations governing instrumentation and control systems.
