Job summary

Mitsubishi Power Americas, Inc. is seeking a Controls Design Engineer to design enhancements for control systems on gas turbines, develop proposals and implementation packages, and provide technical service support.

The role requires knowledge of control and electrical systems, and a BS in engineering with substantial experience. Responsibilities include preparing documentation, reviewing data for performance benchmarks, and coordinating with senior engineers to ensure reliable and effective

Qualifications

• BS degree in Engineering or related field with 6+ years of related work experience.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and reports.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with data analysis tools and MS Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Support the evaluation and enhancement of control system operations with increasing scope.
• Prepare service products and design standards for new products.
• Review operation data to identify benchmarks for control system enhancements using tools like PI, Excel.
• Provide diagnostic support and root cause analyses for control system issues.
• Collaborate with MHI control system engineers to align logic and hardware modifications.
