Job summary
Panasonic Energy is expanding to De Soto, Kansas, building the world’s largest lithium-ion battery factory. The Controls Engineering Technician Iwill support operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of automated manufacturing equipment and control systems.
You’ll work with Engineering, Maintenance, and Production teams to restore functionality and develop expertise across platforms.
Qualifications
- Foundational experience or technical training in industrial automation, controls, maintenance, manufacturing operations, or a related technical environment
- Experience troubleshooting electrical and electromechanical systems in a manufacturing environment
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills
- Must have working-level knowledge of the English language
- Alignment to Panasonic’s core principles
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical, electromechanical, and automated manufacturing equipment to restore safe and efficient operation
- Participate in preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Develop and maintain working knowledge of manufacturing equipment across multiple production areas and business units
- Communicate equipment issues, repair status, troubleshooting findings, and shift handoff information clearly
