Job summary

Panasonic Energy Corporation of North America is expanding to De Soto, Kansas, building the world’s largest lithium-ion battery factory. The Production Supervisor leads safe, efficient shift operations in a high-volume, 24/7 environment to achieve production, quality, cost, and delivery targets.

The role drives Lean manufacturing, 6S, and SQDCP metrics,Develops team capability, and ensures safety, quality, and compliance while collaborating cross-functionally.

Qualifications

• Requires 3+ years of leadership in high-volume 24/7 manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of Lean, 6S, and continuous improvement.
• English language proficiency (reading, writing, speaking).
• Proven ability to coach and develop teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily shift operations to meet production targets.
• Ensure adherence to Standardized Work Instructions (SWIs).
• Plan and assign work schedules and priorities.
• Drive plant-wide initiatives aligned to SQDCP metrics.
• Coach and mentor team members to improve performance.
