Job summary

Panasonic Energy Corporation of North America is expanding to De Soto, Kansas to build the world's largest lithium-ion battery factory. The Advanced Facilities Technician will perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and system optimization of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and utility systems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Candidates should have 4+ years in facilities or industrial maintenance and strong CMMS and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of facilities, industrial maintenance, or related experience.
• Advanced knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and utility systems.
• Ability to independently lead troubleshooting and repair of complex systems.
• Strong communication and collaboration across teams.
• Must have working-level English proficiency.
• Certifications such as OSHA 10/30, CPR, HAZWOPER, or NFPA70E preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform system rounds on mechanical and electrical systems with minimal supervision.
• Lead advanced troubleshooting and repair activities using specialized tools and knowledge.
• Respond to operational issues and diagnose and resolve disruptions.
• Monitor, maintain, and optimize facility systems including HVAC, electrical distribution, and water systems.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and CMMS documentation.
• Identify improvements and lead root-cause analyses to implement corrective actions.
