Job summary
Panasonic Energy Corporation of North America is expanding its De Soto, Kansas facility, building the world's largest lithium-ion battery factory. The Facilities Technician Lead will serve as the technical authority for maintenance of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and utility systems, driving reliability improvements and partnering with Engineering and Operations to optimize performance.

Qualifications
- 5+ years of advanced experience in industrial maintenance, facilities, or utilities systems.
- Expert-level knowledge across electrical, plumbing, mechanical, HVAC and/or pneumatic systems.
- Ability to diagnose complex, system-wide issues and define effective solutions.
- Strong English communication and collaboration skills.
- Proven technical leadership without formal supervisory authority.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and perform advanced troubleshooting and repair of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and utility systems.
- Lead preventive maintenance to ensure reliability and efficiency.
- Manage major outages and root-cause analysis for rapid restoration.
- Provide technical direction to maintenance personnel and coordinate with Engineering/Operations.
