Zusammenfassung

Conti LLC is seeking a Controls Automation Sales Estimator in a flexible, remote-first role serving the Florida market. You will split time between business development and estimating, meeting clients, and steering the takeoff process from start to finish.

You’ll report to the Division Director and collaborate with the Controls Sales team. A self-starter who can manage a remote schedule with accountability will thrive in this growing division.

Qualifikationen

• 2–5 years in controls automation, HVAC, building automation, or related field; estimating experience strongly preferred.
• Background in controls, automation, or manufacturing environments.
• Proficient in Bluebeam and Excel; ability to work within estimating templates.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction documents, and specifications.
• Polished client-facing communication and well-organized written proposals.

Aufgaben

• Identify, pursue, and develop new customer relationships in Detroit and Maumee markets.
• Meet with clients, attend site visits, and represent Conti LLC at dinners/events.
• Serve as primary contact through full sales cycle from outreach to project award.
• Maintain professional follow-up and communication, written and verbal.
• Build long-term relationships with owners, engineers, facility managers, and GC's.
• Generate quotes and proposals for projects up to $20M+.
• Perform material takeoffs and scope reviews using Bluebeam and Excel templates.
• Read/read and interpret project documents and specs.
• Collaborate with internal team to reflect scope and budget in proposals.
• Maintain clear paper trails and documentation throughout estimating process.
