CBRE is seeking an Automation Engineer to join CBRE Global Workplace Solutions (GWS). You will support automated material handling equipment, troubleshoot PLC/PC controllers, and contribute to reliability improvements across conveyors and sortation systems.

Responsibilities include on-site and remote troubleshooting, system inspections, and collaborating with operations and maintenance teams to drive performance and safety.

Qualifications

• Experience with material handling control systems.
• Troubleshoot software for PLC/PC controllers (AB PLCs).
• Ability to respond to emergency situations and provide on-site/remote support.

Responsabilités

• Promote safe operating conditions and compliance with codes.
• Troubleshoot and modify control system software for MHE equipment.
• Provide first-level escalation support on-site and remotely.
• Inspect systems to ensure equipment operates within design specs.
• Oversee coordination with outside contractors for upgrades and maintenance.
• Communicate with stakeholders on timelines and impacts.
• Assist in analysis of failures for improvements.
