Gehl-Food- is hiring a Controls, Automation & Electrical Technician for the 2nd shift (2:00PM - 10:00PM). Pay starts at $35.50/hour, with potential adjustments based on experience. Responsibilities include troubleshooting PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and robotics, along with electrical diagnostics and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in industrial automation, controls, or electrical systems.
• PLC programming/troubleshooting (Allen-Bradley preferred).
• Experience with instrumentation, schematics, and motion control.
• Strong safety focus and teamwork mindset.
• Bonus: Beckhoff, Fanuc, or vision systems experience.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and maintain PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and robotic systems.
• Diagnose and repair electrical wiring, sensors, and instrumentation.
• Support automation upgrades, commissioning, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure documentation accuracy and safety compliance with FDA standards.
