Key Responsibilities and Duties
  • Troubleshoot and maintain PLC systems, HMIs, VFD drives, and robotic automation systems.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical wiring, instrumentation, and sensors across automated production lines.
  • Support automation upgrades, commissioning, and integration of new equipment.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics and control diagrams.
  • Maintain accurate technical documentation for automation and electrical systems.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and FDA manufacturing regulations.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and reliability.
  • Work cross‑functionally with maintenance, engineering, and production teams to resolve automation issues.
Qualifications

Needed

Education / Certifications
  • Technical training, certification, or degree in Electrical Technology, Automation, Controls Engineering, or related field preferred.
Experience
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in industrial automation, controls, or electrical systems.
Technical Requirements
  • Experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting (Allen‑Bradley preferred).
  • Experience with instrumentation, electrical schematics, and motion control systems.
  • Hands‑on experience troubleshooting automation equipment and electrical systems.
  • Knowledge of industrial automation components such as HMIs, VFDs, and sensors.
Additional Preferred Experience
  • Exposure to Beckhoff controls, Fanuc robotics, or vision systems.
Other Requirements
  • Strong commitment to workplace safety.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team‑focused manufacturing environment.
